Predictive Control of PV/Battery System under Load and Environmental Uncertainty

چکیده

The standalone microgrids with renewable energy resources (RERs) such as a photovoltaic (PV) system and fast changing loads face major challenges in terms of reliability power management due to lack inherent inertial support from RERs their intermittent nature. Thus, storage technologies battery (BES) are typically used mitigate the fluctuations maintain balance system. This paper presents model predictive control (MPC) based strategy (PMS) for PV/battery systems. proposed method is equipped an autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) prediction forecast load environmental parameters. controller has capabilities (1) effective management, (2) minimization transients during disturbances, (3) automatic switching operation PV between maximum point tracking (MPPT) mode power-curtailed that prevents overcharging at same time maximize utilization. effectiveness been verified through comprehensive simulation-based analysis.
